Getting Here
Directions
DCT is located on Skillman St, close to Northwest Hwy at 5938 Skillman St, Dallas, TX 75231.
DCT has free, plentiful parking directly outside our building.
Arriving by bus?
Buses may unload and pick up school groups at the north Education Entrance. DCT House Managers will be onsite during weekday student matinee performances to direct buses where to unload passengers and then park.
Arriving by car?
Park anywhere in front of the building and go up the circle drive (1 in the image) to enter the theater.
Arriving by something else?
If it's bigger than a car, use the bus entrance on the education side.
Ticket Information
Ticket Pricing and Policies
Our Field Trip prices are sold at a discount of $12 per ticket. This is for both adults and children.
For every 20 student tickets, you get one free chaperone ticket.
Looking to book, or just wondering about specific availability for an individual show?

Why book with us?
We know you're busy and field trip planning can be overwhelming. We do our best to make our field trip booking as simple (and flexible!) as possible for teachers. Our coordinator is with you every step of the way.
TEKS-aligned study guides are available for every performance.
We ask that you try to arrive 1 hour to 30 minutes before your performance.
Seating and General Theater Policies
Our theater seats 385 and is designed with children in mind. There isn't a bad seat in the house!
For the comfort and safety of all guests:
- Food and beverages are not permitted inside the theater.
- Photography, video, and audio recording are strictly prohibited.
- Please silence and put away all devices during the performance.
- Audience members are not allowed on stage or in backstage areas at any time.

Food and Drink
We do not sell concessions during school shows.
In the Neighborhood
DCT is close to convenient restaurants in the Timber Creek Crossing Shopping Center across the street, including McAlister's Deli, Whataburger, Chick-fil-A, CiCi's Pizza, and more in the area.

Theater Accessibility
Dallas Children’s Theater is committed to ensuring that the transformative power of live theater is accessible to all. Accessible performances include those with American Sign Language and Sensory Friendly accommodations.
If you need assistance or an accommodation, please include it in your field trip request under special requests.
Mobility
- DCT’s performance spaces, classrooms, restrooms, parking, and administrative offices are all accessible according to ADA guidelines.
- Wheelchair and mobility-accessible seats can be accessed without stairs on Row G (formerly the first row of Section B) in the Baker Theater.
- Please request wheelchair seating when booking your tickets.
Assistive Listening Devices
If you would like to use one of DCT’s Assistive Listening Devices during the show, or if you have your own device that you would like to plug into DCT’s system, please visit the Box Office at least 30 minutes in advance before the show.
