The Cabaret Gala was founded in 1993 to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Dallas Children's Theater and to raise critical annual funds for the organization. Now celebrating its 26th year, having raised over $2 million, the Cabaret Gala has developed a reputation as one of the most popular fundraising evenings in Dallas!
Each year, the sold-out audience of over 300 DCT supporters, civic & society leaders, and arts patrons gather in The Fairmont Hotel's legendary Venetian Room to enjoy a performance by one of the nation's leading Cabaret artists. This unique and nostalgic event re-creates an evening in New York's celebrated Oak Room at The Algonquin Hotel. An after-dinner affair, patrons mix and mingle at romantic candle-lit tables while enjoying champagne and decadent desserts.
