Inspired by Roald Dahl’s beloved book and the hit Broadway musical, this class brings the magical world of Matilda to life on DCT’s largest stage. Students will audition for a role in the production directed by Cheryl Lowber and will work with a professional choreographer, music director, and design team; learning music, choreography, and acting skills.
The class culminates in three public performances:
Friday, July 10 at 7:30 PM
Saturday, July 11 at 1:30 PM
Sunday, July 12 at 1:30 PM

Dress Code
All students are required to wear closed-toe shoes. Sandals, flip-flops, Crocs, and other open-toed footwear are not permitted.
Carpool Information
For safety and security purposes, DCT Academy utilizes a carpool system for drop-off and pick-up.
Sick Policy
The health and safety of our students are a top priority. To prevent the spread of illnesses, we ask that sick students remain at home. If a student becomes ill during class, they will be isolated from the other students, and their caregiver will be contacted immediately to pick them up. Students must be symptom-free before returning.
Late Policy
Students must be picked up promptly at the end of each session. Late fees may apply for late pickup.
Refunds
- Fall, Spring, and Summer Sessions:
- Full payment is due at enrollment.
- Partial refunds are available if withdrawal is requested at least two weeks before the session begins. No refunds will be issued after this deadline.
- Mini Sessions:
- Payments for mini-sessions are nonrefundable.
Class Cancellation Policy
DCT reserves the right to cancel any class due to unforeseen circumstances. In the case of inclement weather, DCT cannot guarantee that missed classes can be made up.
