LOCATION: DCT's Rosewood Center for Family Arts, 5938 Skillman at Northwest Highway, Dallas, 75231
ROLES: seeking a non-union cast of 6 ADULT ACTORS
Roles include Jeremy Jacob (a boy of about 10 or so) and a musical band of comical pirates commanded by Captain Braid Beard. (Three of the pirates can be played by either male or female actors.)
Prepare 16 - 32 bars of an up tempo musical theater song (Accompanist Provided)
Bring Current Headshot/Resume/Sheet Music. Reading from the script (please be familiar with material).
REHEARSALS BEGIN: August 7, 2017
Preview & mini performances beginning mid September - Dates TBA
Fall Tour: Sept.1 - Nov.18, 2017 (Thanksgiving off at home)
Performances at Dallas City Performance Hall: Nov. 27 - Dec. 1, 2017
Winter/Spring Tour: Jan. 14 - May 18, 2018
Main-stage run in Dallas at Rosewood Center: June 15 - July 15, 2018
Possible local tours & mini performances in June - Dates & times TBA
This is a non-union tour; EMC weeks cannot be earned.
• Company members must be at least 18 years of age.
• Schedule includes weekday matinee, weekend and evening performances.
• Actors receive a weekly salary plus travel per diem, transportation and lodging.
• This is a coast-to-coast tour from New England to the Pacific Northwest.
• Perusal scripts will be available at DCT & STAGE.
