ROLES: seeking a SINGING & DANCING ensemble of ADULT ACTORS to portray a variety of characters in Victorian London, including Charles Dickens, Queen Victoria, Merlin the Magician & more

REQUIREMENTS:
Please prepare 16 - 32 bars of an up-tempo musical theater song (Accompanist Provided- bring your own sheet music properly marked & in your key).
Reading from the script (please be familiar with material).
Bring Current Headshot/Resume/Sheet Music.

REHEARSALS BEGIN:
October 15th, 2018

PRODUCTION DATES:
November 14th - December 23rd, 2018

OTHER INFO:
• Union Contracts Available.
• DCT is a member of the Equity Candidacy Program.
• Non-Union Adult Actors will receive a Performance Fee.
• Youth actors to be auditioned in September 2018. Call DCT after July 15th.
• Performances will take place at DCT's Rosewood Center Baker Theater.
• Schedule includes weekday student matinees, weekend matinee and evening performances.
• Perusal scripts will be available at DCT.

Butterfly/Ensemble Characters- soprano
Ant/Ensemble Characters- baritone

Fall Tour: September 24th - November 17th, 2018 (with Thanksgiving off)
Local Performances at Moody Performance Hall: November 25th - 30th, 2018
Winter/Spring Tour: January 7th - May 25th, 2019
Main-stage run at Dallas Children's Theater: June 15th - July 14th, 2019
Possible local mini tour performances in June: Dates and times TBA

OTHER INFO:
• This is a non-union tour; EMC points cannot be earned.
• Company members must be at least 18 years of age.
• Schedule includes weekday matinee, weekend, and evening performances.
• Actors receive a weekly salary plus travel per diem, transportation and lodging.
• This is a coast-to-coast tour from New England to the Pacific Northwest.
• Perusal scripts will be available at DCT.
