About the Show
endling (noun): an individual living thing that is the last survivor of its species or subspecies and whose death consequently means the extinction of that species or subspecies.

Developed in the early days of the global pandemic, ENDLINGS explores humanity's connection to the natural world and the grief human-creatures experience when they become disconnected from the natural world - especially as a result of the climate crisis. The production weaves together first-person interviews from individuals living and working on the front lines of climate change with the words and experiences of the teen actors navigating a changing planet. Originally presented as an audio-play, the script is being rewritten for the first live production, presented by Dallas Children's Theater.
