ROLES: seeking a Diverse Fully-Vaccinated Ensemble of ADULT ACTORS to portray a variety of juvenile and adult characters including Junie B. and her classmates, family, and school staff
• Actor 1 – Junie B. Jones – Juvenile Adult to play quintessential 1st grader
• Actor 2 – Herb – Junie B's 1st grade friend / Daddy / Matador
• Actor 3 – May – Junie B's 1st grade nemesis / Mrs. Weller / Matador
• Actor 4 – Lucille – Junie B's 1st grade friend / Mother / Gus Vallony
• Actor 5 – Sheldon Potts – Junie B's 1st grade friend / Mrs. Gutzman / Matador
• Please Note: Actor 6 – Mr. Scary / Grandpa Miller / Principal / Matador has been cast.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Prepare 16-32 bar up tempo musical theater song.
- Bring your own sheet music properly marked & in your key. Accompanist will be provided.
- Bring photo/resume & proof of full vaccination.
- Face masks will be required.
Rehearsals Begin: August 29th, 2022
Production Dates: September 21st – November 4th, 2022

• Union contracts available.
• DCT is a member of the Equity Candidacy Program.
• Non-Union adult actors will receive a performance fee.
• Performances will take place at DCT's Rosewood Center Baker Theater.
• Schedule includes weekday student matinees & weekend matinee performances.

• Eubie – The Happy Elf, a "trainee" in the Toy Department. All smiles and songs.
• Molly – The mean-girl, diva daughter of the Mayor of Bluesville.
• Hamm – Sleigh mechanic, best friends with Eubie and Gilda.
• Gilda – A reindeer veterinarian obsessed with cleanliness, allergic to everything.
• Norbert – Foreman Elf. An angry man. Orderly and "by the book." Eubie's nemesis.
• Santa / Mayor – The one and only / Mayor of Bluesville and Molly's workaholic Dad.
• Mrs. Claus / Gurt – Wife of the one and only / Wife of the Mayor of Bluesville and Mom to Molly.
• Curtis / Toy Elf – Molly's minder and personal assistant in Bluesville.
• Coppa / Snowboard Elf / Worker #1 – An officer of the North Pole-ice.
• Head Reindeer Elf / Bluesville Townsperson / Worker #2
• Head Candy Elf / Bluesville Angry Lady / Elfette Leader / Bluesville Worker
