Hats off

The Dallas Children's Theater lobby is full of adventure. There are photo opportunities throughout the lobby and gallery space, antique puppets on display, and even a puppet stage where you can put on your own puppet performance! To support this play, print and assemble the finger puppet provided. Then present your own mouse play in our All-Star Puppet Theater in the lobby!

To assemble your finger puppet, you will need:
*Printed template
*Scissors
*Glue and/or glue sticks

DCT Mom thoughts

by Natalie Jackson:

This featured crafting site, Aunt Annie's Crafts, has a wealth of fun craft ideas for you and your kiddos! As a mom AND a teacher, I love this site! Here are a couple of Aunt Annie's tips for your finger puppets. "To operate the puppet, place one finger inside the cone body. If your fingers are small, use two fingers." And, "For a snug fit on your finger, loosely stuff the cone body with cotton." (A basic cotton ball is the perfect solution if you need a tighter fit to your puppet.)
