Volunteering with your children is a great way to give back to your community while nurturing your child's inner sense of selflessness, respect, and empathy. Here is a list of several local organizations that offer volunteering opportunities with your kids.

1. Dallas Children's Theater - "On behalf of all of us at Dallas Children's Theater, thank you so much for your considering us as a prospective volunteer location. Your generous time will contribute to our serving an annual average of 255,000 children and families. We are delighted to present you with exciting and rewarding volunteer opportunities." 2. Young Men's Service League - "Young Men's Service League is a non-profit organization that initiates and encourages young men and their mothers to pursue philanthropic involvement in their community and provides an opportunity to enhance mother/son relationships. 4. Wee Volunteers - "Wee Volunteer exists to provide age appropriate service projects for preschool and elementary school age children with local Dallas charitable organizations. We want our boys to get involved with community service projects as much as possible. In our busy, technological world of constant video games and t.v., I want my kids to get outside, meet new people, and feel pride in knowing they are making a difference!
