Hats off

The Kathy Burks Theater of Puppetry Arts troupe performs with rod puppets, marionettes, hand puppets, and many other forms of puppetry!

Encourage your budding puppeteer to create their own "Hansel and Gretel" puppet show with these finger puppets.

Click the link, designed by Manelle Oliphant Illustration, and print the puppets on a hard paper, like card stock. Let your children color each character. Cut out the finger holes and insert fingers as legs for walking, jumping, and dancing! Let the puppet show begin!

DCT Mom thoughts

I can only imagine that the caption for this photo of our youngest son would read, "Hmmmm, fingers... What can I do with these things? I can eat bananas with these fingers (my very favorite fruit, and one of my first words), play piano (my brother and I love to play music together!), and make Hansel and Gretel finger puppets! Fingers are awesome!"
