There are many ways to show your support of DCT.

Less than 50% of DCT’s earned revenue is generated through ticket sales; Dallas Children's Theater relies on local and national support from foundations, corporations, and individuals to continue providing our worthwhile programming to children in North Texas and across the country. Dallas Children's Theater is growing by leaps and bounds. DCT is now the largest professional family theater in the Southwest, and the second-largest theater of any kind in Dallas. Not only does DCT produce an 11-play season each year and a national tour, but DCT’s innovative staff have also instituted several vital, groundbreaking educational programs, including the noted Curtains Up On Reading program.

Contributions are a vital link to fulfilling the Dallas Children’s Theater mission. Become a supporter as an individual, a corporation, or even as a volunteer! Help us maintain and grow our programs that serve a vital need of families in North Texas.

Spirit of Uganda Gala to
Support DCT and Empower African Children

CLICK HERE to purchase tickets to this event.

Spirit of Uganda presents a riveting program of music and dance for audiences of all ages.  To the melodic tones of standing drums, with dramatic choreography, bright, layered rhythms, and gorgeous call-and-response vocals, a vibrant cast of performers, aged 8-18, oscillates between ferocity and softness as they bring to life the sounds and movements of East Africa.

Orphaned as a result of Africa’s AIDS pandemic and crisis of civil war, these young performers serve as ambassadors for Uganda’s 2.4 million orphans.  The U.S. tour of Spirit of Uganda, Peter Kasule, Artistic Director, allows these particular children to be self-sufficient while lending attention to the needs of their desperate brethren back home.  You can help some of Africa’s most unfortunate children with your support.  Tickets for the Spirit of Uganda Gala are $100 per person.  Proceeds will benefit both DCT and Empower African Children.
