A Dallas Children’s Theater Artist can come to your classroom during the school day for Curtains Up on Reading!
Invite a Professional DCT Artist to visit your classroom to
conduct a drama residency. Using our highly successful multi-sensory
approach to learning, the DCT Artist works with students to bring
classroom curriculum to life. The DCT Artist will use literature and
stories to compliment the themes chosen for the residency.
Themes include:
- Main Idea
- Sequence and Summary
- Civil War/Underground Railroad
- Texas History; American Revolution
- Westward Expansion
- Mythology
- Ancient Japan and other cultures.
Or the DCT Artist can design a program to fit your classroom needs and goals.
The cost is $50 per class visit (45 minutes in length).
Maximum number of students: one regular classroom 25-30 students.
Most themes do best with at least 5 class meetings.
